How To Get Back Old Tab Page Look Of Google Chrome

Monday, November 18, 2013

Updates are always created to make some changes but sometimes we don't like the updated version, we love to use our simple old look because we got habituated by using previous look. Just like other things, here I am going to discuss about Google Chrome newly launched tab styles which is quiet nice but still lot of users are not liking it so its a great opportunity for them to learn how to go back to the old layout of Google Chrome new tab page.

Google Chrome launched its new layout for tabs which is included Google search in the middle and all the most visited tabs below. Just because of the lot of updation, you might facing some issues like it opens slow and sometimes it stops responding.

How To Go Tack To Old New Tab Layout Of Chrome :

  • Open New tab in Google Chrome and type this in address bar ==> chrome://flags
  • Now press CTRL+F and find this keyword ==> Enable Instant extended API
  • Now here you can see a drop down menu containing Default, Enabled, Disabled. Select Disabled and close the window.

You're Done !! Now restart your chrome browser and see the old look of Google Chrome new Tab.
